Students will learn basic accounting principles, bookkeeping skills, and methods. The double-entry system of keeping records where debits and credits are used is the focus of all record keeping taught for proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations. Advanced units are also devoted to business and payroll accounting. The course is designed to teach the necessary skills to achieve success in both high school and beyond.
